August–November 2021 Health Economist consultant for Genesis Analytics Propriety Ltd Population Health on behalf of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Deliverables included inception report, in-depth interviews, review of the HIV/AIDS ‘routine efficiency monitoring system’ costing, indices and matrices and final research report detailing routinisation costing methodology transferability across health benefits package disease programmes and other LMICs 

April–December 2021 Country Health Economist – Consultant for the Centre for Global Development (on behalf of the International Decision Support Initiative). Deliverables include: 

·       Applied Health Technology Assessment: HTA topic selection workplan, Topic specific HTA protocol, laboratory systems in African investment case article and HTA topic identification, selection and prioritisation 

·       National Health Benefits Package: National Health Care Package WHO interventions mapping support, generate and lead validation processes for roadmap for the revision of the national health care package (with MoH, partners – including World Bank and experts). 

·       Building Capacity for Health Technology Assessment: Capacity and skills assessments related Health Technology Assessment for Health Benefits Package Processes data collection and report, coordination of capacity strengthening initiatives (including webinars with topic experts) for the health benefits package multi-stakeholder group

·       Information dissemination: Project governance Coordination with Government and stakeholder including Africa CDC HEU & RCC, the University of Zambia (Economics and Public Health), World Bank (HQ & local) and others HBP partners and disseminate iDSI work through CDG (including articles and blogs) 

April– June 2021 Health Economist consultant for Aquarius Population Health on behalf of Hologic Inc. Deliverables included: cervical cancer market research (literature review for Africa and Zambia – economic evaluations, financing, budgeting, governance, programs), in-depth interviews with key informants, thematic analysis, stakeholder mapping & client management. The assessment explored cervical cancer prevention, screening, diagnosis and treatment interventions in Africa with an in-depth analysis of Zambia with the aim of understanding the cervical cancer’s market for Hologic’s screening and treatments medical diagnostics equipment’s. 

March 2021 Country Health Economist Consultant for the Centre for Global Development (on behalf of the International Decision Support Initiative). Deliverables included: report ‘Review of healthcare priority-setting for Zambia’s national health care package’, Inception report for Ministry of Health’s health sector allocative efficiency project, stakeholder engagement and liaison lead for the implementation consortium (World Bank CDG, MOH, the University of Zambia 

August-December 2020 Programs technical lead consultant for the Eastern and Southern African Ministerial Commitments on Youth Sexual Reproduction Health & Rights’ Alliance for Quality Education (AQESA) project. Zero-year end program evaluation, capacity development for multinational civil society organization on SRHR research & advocacy and Donor liaison with Education out Loud and Oxfam for post Zero Year programming. Lead supervisor for two multi-country studies (1– Digital assessment on the opinions of young people on sexual reproductive health and rights, 2 – Review of country progress on inter-ministerial commitments). AQESA is an alliance of four civil society organisations (Girl Child Rights – Mozambique, For Equity Africa – Malawi, My Age – Zimbabwe and Faith Arise Community Centre – Zambia).
